How safe is Nitrous?
Finishing up a L98 build considering a plate system.. How safe is it? And what kind of long term negative effects will it have on the motor?

if you do everything correctly nitrous is safe. but you need to do lots of reading on the subject first. people that tell you otherwise did not do their reading. lol

If used in a safe manner it will not have any effects on engine reliability. I would recommend starting off is SMALL increments and working your way up as you understand the system and learn how to tune it.
