nitrous express or NOS
Im planning on spraying my camaro its a 305 tbi soon to be carbed. Yes but I know its just a 305 blah blah blah I don't care if it blows up. My question is which would be the best between the nos sniper kit and the nitrous express mainline carb kit. I have nitrous on my other car so im not new to it. I don't want to spend a whole lot and certainly don't want to dry kit. So which would be better for a budget system?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: nitrous express or NOS
Whatever i can find on ebay or craigslist works for me,whatever i find for the right price is what i go with. But i think nitrous express rates the hp gains at the wheels while NOS is at the Flywheel. But i could be wrong.

been using NOS from way back in 1985. and still today.
now its not the same copny. now it's all part of Holly.
back in the day it was all the same bunch of guys. at NOS.
there parts could not be beat. today. who knows. im still just a fan of NOS parts. But there is alot of Neat parts out now/today. i will say stick with One Maker of parts. and dont Skimp on safty parts.
Dont Buy used parts. unless you know what to look for. in used parts.
start small and Move up. you will have fun with the small stuff.
before going to the Big shot stuff.

nos is owned by holley, but its still pretty much the same stuff. you can make most any brand work just fine, just pick one that fits the bill. edelbrock noids have teflon plungers, which tend to work better with a progressive controller, but other than that....

Whatever you get the best deal on... they all work, they might be "tuned" differently but it really doesn't matter, you'll make the power with the right size jets and the nozzles. I've run NX and NOS parts in the same system.
if you're going to go out of your way for one or another, I usually go NX or Edelbrock, their stuff tends to be a little harder to package but I like it better and trust it more.

They all work nice if installed correctly but I can say that most any system (except one that has been pre-flowed) is going to require tuning to make it work right without being a rich AFR
