Re: New to NOS

I would start at the Q&A of the N20 manufacturers. My NOS brand instruction manual covered a lot of questions.

Re: New to NOS

Yeah do a search and read up on setups, nitrous has been discussed alot here and alot of manufacturers have good tech information pages on their sites.

Dont really matter what brand, they are all pretty much the same/equal to some level.

For you, a simple plate kit would be about optimal. Unsure of internals I'd probably keep it conservative and go nothing more than a 125 shot but start out small, 50-75 shots and work your way up to be safe. Tuning the kit is imperative to get it to live. They will come with guidelines on fuel and nitrous jet setup but you'll have to see what the motor likes to be optimal.

You will need to pull a few degs of timing to be safe and perhaps run a step colder spark plug. Also tighten the gap a good bit. .030-.035 wouldnt be a bad place to start. A 125 shot should pull 4-5 deg from your normal WOT n/a tune at first and work your way up. Being conservative will save you a motor
