junk yard 305 turbo build help.
hey guy's, i have been having the worst luck lately, i got west nile and was sick FOREVER!!!! and got laid off, and my 1996 trans am took a **** on me. but that good ol 305 still runs like a F**ing champ
so anyway its good to be back on here. now i talked about building this thing first n/a, then maybe high compression on e85, now its offical i want to turbo the thing. on a trip to a salvag yard i snagged a turbo from a 1991 saab 900 spg, small little thing, a greddy bov, basically the whole turbo set up from this old saab for next to nothing cus me and pops know the guy well, anyway here's my questions to those of you who know about turbo builds.
1. how much boost will the TE-05 mitsubishi turbo create, at least thats what i think the 900 spg came with from doing research.
2.what parts can i use from what i salvaged. i grabbed all the pipes that were on the car...just cut them off soo what should i be looking for.
3.should i go carb'd and do somewhat of a blow thru setup, or has anyone turbo'd a tbi 305??
4.what parts will i need to make this work. or should it all be on what i took off the old saab.
5. how do i regulate boost...i dont think this turbo is capable of making monster boost but i dont want to have something stupid happen.
6. intercooler, small saab one or aftermarket.
im not looking to make a lot of power just a fun ripper, i have heads to be put on, and basic bolt on's so i think even 4-5 psi would make ok power and would be a very fun street car. so please any help would be great, i have a 350 car im building now my 1996 TA will be a le2 383 so please keep the 350 swap talk down. i would like some advice on parts i need to make this happen thanks guys again.

Re: junk yard 305 turbo build help.
Depending on the specs you may be able to get away with a pair of them. Single's gonna be way under sized. Twins may be under sized as well honestly, but getting closer. I can't find a ton of info on the specs of this beast, measuring the inducer would probably give a better idea of where you stand but if it is going to put out much over 400hp even in twins I'd be surprised.

ok after doing some research i figured this much, the turbo is a baby one so anyone ever get any of the ebay turbo kits you build yourself? some of them on ebay have sbc turbo manifolds other than that i dont know exactly how good they would be, thanks for the info man.
