I've tried to contact ATI for help and no luck. they wont provide any drawings, dimension, templates or anything. have to buy a whole kit... but the kit wont work for my setup.

I have a 383 LT1 in my 92z. Has anyone put a procharger on an LT1 in a thirdgen? if so where did you mount the blower and would you mind helping me out in providing pics/dimensions/info?

I want to mount the blower high on the driver side. obviously i need a custom bracket but i have NOTHING to work with lol. i have no idea of the mounting bolts/position of the blower, i want D1SC, and how big it is to ensure appropriate location.

if anyone has any technical info/dimensions/drawings or can get some of these dimensions it would be greatly appreciated. i will have time this winter to mock things up and dont want to pay hundreds or thousands for a shop to do this work that can simply be done at home with some time.

High on the drivers side has been done, search for B body installs.

I dont see why you wouldnt just buy a used C4 vette kit, swap to vette accessorys, should be able to round up everything cheap enough.

Is that a custom made bracket or slightly modified available bracket that I can get from ATI? Problem is that they won't sell me an individual bracket. Have to buy a kit. Quite stupid actually but whatever...

ATI customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!! They wouldn't sell me an oil mister for an oil fed SC, I had to send in the whole uit, yeah right.. take it off and send it across the ocean and end up paying a gazillion dollars for a $50 item.

 

Look at my novi 2000 for sale post. There's a link in there to the build. Start from scratch and make yiurbiwn bracket.

 

They'll sell you the SBC main bracket and repositioner bracket like in that picture. You just need to get a hold of tech instead of sales. Give me your email address and I may be able to help you with a drawing.
