procharger question
What would be a safe boost level for a 92 gta L98? I will use whatever size intercooler system it would need to run safe. The motor is stock but in very good running shape. Last question is what kind of gain could I hope for with a pro charger kit?

Re: procharger question
This is straight off of prochargers site. Those boost levels they list are for modified engines. I would say a safe level is somewhere between 5-8 psi on a bone stock motor. Others may have different opinions. The higher the boost you run the better chance for detonation.

Re: procharger question
If you have at least a full exhaust on the car the 4" pulley on a D1SC will give you 10 psi at 5500 rpm which I thought was safe. This will lower your times by a second, add some slicks and you could be in the 12's. Oh and you might want to up your injectors to 30 lbs at least and I would recommend learning how to program your own proms to get the most out of it.
