12lbs or 9lbs and injector size questions

I have recently purchased a used procharger P600B, it came with the 12# pulley but my question is can i run 12 lbs on my my 88 camaro with a stock bottom end. Mods so far are comp cams cc304 cam, ported heads, accel base, slp runners, ported plenum. i know the stock C.R. is 9.3-1 but my heads were milled slightly for flatness, and i put .26 gaskets on not thinking i was gonna go with a blower. Will i still be able to run 12lbs of intercooled boost safe? I am also going to use water injection for further prevention of detenation. My next question is, what size injectors should i use? i'm running the stock 22's now. Should i get 24's 26's or 30's? i figured this combo to have around 450hp at the crank(has around 300 at the crank now). Thanks for any help

Also, I heard it was bad to cut the fuel lines for the FMU, is there something i can get so that its a plug and play fit so to speak?? thanks again

Without knowing your current compression ratio it would be hard to say for sure what boost level would be safe. I don't know the specs of the cam you're using without looking them up. The cam will also make a difference in the amount of boost you can run. More valve overlap will allow you to run more boost, but at the cost of power production at any given boost level. In other words having more valve overlap will allow more of the intake charge to escape out of the combustion chamber through the open exhaust valve.

You should be ok with stock sized injectors (assuming they are in excellent condition) since you are using an FMU. If you were not using the FMU you would probably need larger injectors with a custom PROM (or other calibration control), or stock injectors and some type of add on fuel enrichment device like the Carroll Superfueler.

Ok. thanks for the help. here are some anwsers to your cam questions
1. Cam specs are 266in. 276ex. (200in. 210 ex. @50) and lift is .500in. and .510ex.

2. I have decided to use 24lb injectors.

3. As far as compression ratio, i have been told it was ok to run 12lbs with it. I'm going to use a intercooler and water injection so i don't have problems.

4. Anyone know about the new fuel lines ATI has? Is there a possibility i could get mine switched with the new lines? or will i have to pay some?
Thanks

get two of these "AEROQUIP" brand (or comperable) fittings as well as two male -6 AN fittings for the FMU so you can build your own plug and play braided lines.
