Vortech V2 SQ S-Trim......Durable?

I have a V1 S-Trim, the noisy one, and want to exchange it for the V2 S-Trim, the quiet one. I have heard from this LS1 this guy that it is not too durable and has broken. He returned it to Vortech and they gave him the noisy one. Have any of you guy's ever have a problem with the V2 breaking?

we have many customers with v-2 sq's on daily drivers no probs including a 521rwhp/520rwtq 93 stang (it now makes 525/530 thanks to a power cooler) see it at: http://www.outlawperformance.com/93mustang513hp.html

Is the V2SQ that much quieter than a V1S ? What's the cost to upgrade?

the sq in my opinion is still pretty loud, you aint goanna food nobody. If you want to sneak up on people get a powerdyne, but they dont make enough boost to blow your nose (except thier new gearbox style and it is loud too).

Thanks for the info. Right now I have the SC inlet breathing through my Formula hood, and it is very loud. How much quieter do you think the v-2 is over the v-1? I think anything would be an improvment.

If your v-1 s-trim is fully functional, they will give you $1000.00 towards a v-2SQ which is about $1850.00. Go to vortecheng.com for more info.
