Whats a good cam to use with n2o?

I'm looking for a good cam that will work good N/A and also with a 150 shot of n2o? The engine I'm building has an edlebrock intake,SLP runners, ported plenum for induction. I was thinking of using Crane Cam #104224 214 220/.452 .465/112. Any opinions?

I am also interested. Is there something I'm missing, that doesn't seem like much lift on that cam .452 .465. I got a ZZ4-3 cam in now. I was planning on going larger, is this going to be a prob. w/ my Nitrous Xpress lit? Thanks.

Z28z I like that profile for a couple of reasons. It probably wont screw you speed density (map sensor) efi system up, secondly it is not too big to prevent good cylinder pressures for good nitrous power (good small sized blower cam too). and lastly instead of going with a 114 or even 113 lobe cam which could produce too high of cyl pressures (under rarer circumstances) you went with the 112 lobe, good job.

B4C - do you think I'll be ok w/ the cam I have? When I swap the cam out what would you recommend?

Re: Whats a good cam to use with n2o?

Z28z,

That's the cam that I'm getting put in my 305 (I know your a 350)which will be getting a supercharger at the end of the year. I would say this this is a good cam for a blower/nitrous application. Also, this is the cam that Willie uses to run 12s in his blown 305.
