Hi I have a 86 Camaro with a 2.8l 5 speed. I put on a small Rotorex C30 supercharger, it has a bog and it pings under boost, it goes up to about 10 psi at higher rpms. I have a water intercooler, 17lbs injectors from Southbay, second fuel pump, 8:1 FMU. it is worse in first and second gear. I turned the timing down but that did not help. I was thinking of adding a MSD with boost retard. The engine is all stock with headers, and a JET chip. Any help would be appreciated.

Premium gas as in 93 octane?? Either way I'd suggest you take it to the rollers and get it sorted out that wayOriginally Posted by dana0330

You need a wideband reading, a solid datalog, and better timing control...Originally Posted by dana0330

I got the pinning sorted out with a timing adjustment, But it still bucks under boost. I closed up the gap on the plugs to .032, and replaced the cap and rotor. The wires are fairly new.
I got the bogging sorted out. I got a set of 20lbs injectors from South Bay Fuel injectors that seemed to do the trick. No more bucking and it has way more power.
