ati, nos, or both

Basically, I'm asking if anyone has an idea on how to kill myself faster. I'm building up a 383 tpi, and can't decide if I want to add a supercharger or nos or both. I want to keep it streetable, and even though the 383 will be enough to dust most ricers, I want to keep up with my dad and his friends that run 'vettes. I've been putting this project together for awhile, and only recently decided to go a step further. The rest of the car is going to include a six point custom roll-cage, fully adjustable suspension package with braces and subframe connectors, and a t-56 running into a 3.42. I want a good top end for mile and five mile races, but I want to do some damage on the quarter too, now. Any ideas that might keep me form killing myself or my car would be appreciated too.

Incidentally, the reason I decided to take the next step is the movie "The Fast and the Furious." Not because it gave me ideas, but it gave the kids that are blowing daddy's money ideas, and they need put back in their place. Loved the movie, can't stand imports.

Me personally, I'm into the power always being there. But not everyone has 3-5 grand to put into a top notch blower setup. NOS is good but only for about 4-6 runs. Both are really nice but hard to work with at the same time and kinda dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. As for the movie, I too liked it but would like to have seen imports vs domestic.........Maybe in part 2. Hope I was some sort of help.

Nitrous Oxide Systems would be very behind the idea of using nitrous with a supercharger. It can lower the intake temperature 75 degrees or more and you only have to use a 40 or 50 hp shot to get the desired cooling benefit. Also if you inject a 50 hp shot you may get 100 to 150 extra horsepower.
