Research Paper on Supercharger

Hey guys,

For school this year I have to do a Junior Research Paper to pass english. I have decided to do it on Superchargers and how they work. Does anyone know of any good websites, magazines, and books that will help me w/ this?? I have to have many different resources. Thanks for any help.

Check Vortech and ATI's websites. Both of them would probably have some good theory and explanation you could use.

Ask ATI and or Vortech too send you specific package information on a particular setup. I did this and they sent me all kinds of good info! Just drop em' and email!

I wish I would have thought of something cool like that when I was in school and writing them damn papers Good luck!

You should also consider doing turbochargers, because I think there is more literature available for them, which could make your life easier. Everybody is gonna tell you to look at the McInnes book and Corky Bell's book, and there is more out there. If you are set on doing superchargers, go for it. (Just make sure you post the draft on the power adder board for proof reading, I'm sure you'll get a thorough dissecting of your paper) Good luck with your paper

Yeah, saw both of those books at borders, and I bought Turbochargers by MacInnes there. You also may wanna try a library, but I'd imagine the material you'd find there would be more engineering oriented. I like "Turbochagers" because it mentions other applications for turbos like tractors, airplanes, and boats. Have fun with this paper, I always seemed to end up writing about big long boring books which were forced upon us Oh well
