The prob. = I get the bottle filled on Wens. its down to ~ 650psi on Fri. I didn't check the pressure when I first got it filled. Does anyone else have this prob.? I think it might be leaking at the head/valve on the bottle.

Does anyone have a torque spec on valve to bottle?
Do ya'll think I need a new seal on the bottle?

PS- I have a bottle heater but its not hooked up yet. Would that make a difference?

PSS- I got a NX system.

 

Well is it cold where your at?? just because the PSI is down doesnt mean its empty...

Weigh the bottle .. should be around the 25lb +/- mark.. if its been filledd and you havent used any since then...

Yes.. use the bottle heater.. as you want to be @ 950psi +/- or in the green for Nitrous Express ...

i know that you arent going to believe this-i used to run nitrous when my car was a 305, ran it alot, it was before these kids here in socal 86'ed themselves so it was pharmacy grade-no sulphur-i had the same problem as you-where the fu-- is my nitrous leaking to?-heres the tech tip part of the story-on days that i could watch it i would get a 5 gal bucket of water and invert the bottle and submerge it and look for bubbles-never saw any -ever- wtf-finally found out from the guy behind the counter where i used to buy it at -that my roommate had bought me a couple refills-huh i said i never was given any such gift at all hmmmmmmm-well the fu--in guy was hitting my bottle getting buzzed and tucking it back into my car emptier than-well you know where in going- unbelievable that i chased that "leak" for 6 months or so.seeya
