blower and transmission?

I just put a new engine in my Z. I put AFR heads on and Think the new engine is faster than the stock engine with the blower and 8psi boost! Now, my question,.... with the blower Will my transmission last? it is stock 700r4 with the oil changed every 6-8mo with amsoil? Or should i get a probuilt kit and rebuild it? I jsut want to know if it will last? Also, I am thinking of either of slowing down the supercharger or taking it off.. It has so much power with teh blower on that i can not grab any ANY traction unless i am going over 30mph. It seems faster off the line without the supercharger. ?

depends

hmmmm...will it last. If your camaro was built before 1987 then the tranny is the buggy one. After that year GM addressed and repaired several large bugs in the 700-R4 and the later ones are much better. as for the traction problems just try launching softer and then using the deep gears to get into the speed. You don't have to leave the mark at warp speed just be doing it when you hit the finish haha. hole shot is important but if at 30 you grab and start to feel the g's rip the hair out of the back of your neck that's nirvana man. However if you are going for a auto-x car then yea ditch the charger and upgrade the heck out of your suspension...after all... you can always send your charger to me
