I/C Piping

Well guys, I have finally started working on the bird again. I took some time to start the intercooler piping, and thought I would post some pics. I tried to find a way to have the least amount of piping, and i think this is it. I am wating on a short radious 4" elbow from Spearco, so i made my own for mock up purposes. If you guys see something that should be changed or modified, let me know. This is my first attempt at piping, and if there is anything i can improve on, I would like to do it now before it goes off to Jet Hot.

Yes, It will be going to Jet Hot after it is fully welded, and I find a spot for the BOV. I think I am going to go with there high luster finish.

Looks really good. You could always look at TPI_Gurus photos of his car for some referenace materal to where he mounted his air/water

Also, the new procharger blowoff valve is HUGE. If you read/look at Pro 5.0 Mustang magazine at all, it was two issues ago with the yellow stang on the cover that they had a feature on pande performance's new Pro 5.0 car for next season

his motor BROKE the dyno at 2000hp and after it was fixed it proceeded to make much more than that, but the final amount was undisclosed

On this motor they only used the new procharger bov so it must work extremely well

skinnykid race cars did the chassis and turbo people/bennet racing did the motor and wolferacecraft did the clutch/suspension tuning

In my opinion if they get this car worked out, it is going to dominate Pro 5.0 next season unless some others step up to the plate. This car should be going 6.40s-6.50s @ 220mph+

they tried 1 full power pass and the car decided that the rear end and 4 link wasn't strong enough so it shattered it

--------

Man I wish someone made an LT1 impala procharger kit
I don't know about Procharger but Keith Mease of Mease performance in NJ makes a bolt in intercooled twin turbo kit for the 94-96 Impala SS for $6700.With the install of the kit and nothing else his car went from stock low 15's to 12.8-thats all stock other than the kit down to the tires and spark plugs(which he needs to pull and close the gap to run more boost),the downpipes even bolt right into the factory cat's and exhaust

Just a thought(I really,really want to do this to my dad's 96-think he'll notice? )

Just thought I'dmention it-it is a direct bolt on though.

And as pretty as the SLP's are-I loved the fact that the kit includes all polished stuff, polished turbo-tubes andpipes, and intercooler.
