Need Help! Fluid dampener yes no?
i have a supercharged 350 400-500hp and im going to be running it up to 6000 rpm do i have to buy a fluid dampener in order to keep my crank from going out or can i get away with stock because im on a tight budget

No, at an rpm limit of 6000 or less, a good stock type damper is fine. BHJ makes a good stock style damper that is not much more than an OEM damper.
If you were to go with an aftemarket damper, I recommend an ATI Superdamper over the Fluidamper. Having said that though, if it's just a street application (where SFI certification is not needed) and rpms are kept around 6000 and below, the Streetdamper is a pretty good deal at around $150.

Any good high-performance machine shop or speed shop can get them for you, or probably already stocks them.
