Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights Can't decide if I like those grilles without fogs or not, seems like something is missing. Show me what you got. I'm particularly interested in close up shots showing what is exposed to the naked eye to see how obvious it looks like something is missing. I have a NOS Camaro grille (year correct), though I originally ordered the bowtie one from the dealer, I just never got around to exchanging it or mounting it. |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights Those grilles are clean looking, especially in comparison to the older style ones like I have (the one's with vents instead of a solid grille with a logo). I HATE it, plus they crack and break easily. I think they look good, and should've been like that all throughout 82-92. |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights I just took a new unused bowtie grill in on trade yesterday. Still unsure if Im gonna use it on my 91 project or not. I actually have one of each thirdgen Camaro grill. Have the RS grill, the bowtie grill, and the "CAMARO" grill and only one car. Maybe I should swap grills once a week lol |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights Need to pull it out. So some black painting behind the bumper cover ,etc... That will all get done when the front is off for the intercooler install.. http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...ach/1beach.JPG http://www.cecoatings.com/images/Car...tatbeach15.jpg |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights 1 Attachment(s) I've got fogs to install, but haven't yet. |
Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights The Bowtie grill was a factory standard for the 91-92 Z28 and came with foglamps unless it was a 1LE where the foglights were deleated. My personal favorites are the ZO3 Heritage cars of '92 where the grill was body color matched (except for the Purple Haze versions). Even though blue wasn't a ZO3 option, heres mine: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/pict...pictureid=7967 |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights 1 Attachment(s) I ziptied in some mesh I picked up in the "performance" aisle at AutoZone. It fills in the gaps, but doesn't draw too much attention. Also, I figure it helps to protect the radiator from debris. Attachment 402999 |
Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights ^^Wow that looks great!! |
Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights I like that a lot too...If I can't find some new bezels for my fog lights, I'm just gonna leave them out and go with that look. I hardly ever turned them on anyway |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights 1 Attachment(s) I used some stainless mesh screen (the same kind GM uses to make the grill screens on C5 Z06's to screen off my ram-air boxes that feed the air lid. |
Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1011025_n.jpg I saw a few Camaros without the fogs that had the bowtie grille and decided I really liked the look so I went ahead and did it and never looked back. |

Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights 1 Attachment(s) I think that depending on what the color of the car is and how much is done to it....sometimes the fog lights are too much and make the car look too busy.Just my opinion.... I like mine without the fog lights but I am really diggin the zip tied mesh look...hmmmm..lol Attachment 399591 |
Re: Show me your Camaro/Bowtie grilles without fog lights im keeping my eye out for a camaro grille. Get rid of my RS style grille. Didnt have any of the other at my local pick n pull. That mesh looks good! Anyone who asked about ramair21's lights. they are E36 bmw lights and thier is a thread on them. |
