Can't decide if I like those grilles without fogs or not, seems like something is missing. Show me what you got. I'm particularly interested in close up shots showing what is exposed to the naked eye to see how obvious it looks like something is missing.
I have a NOS Camaro grille (year correct), though I originally ordered the bowtie one from the dealer, I just never got around to exchanging it or mounting it.

Those grilles are clean looking, especially in comparison to the older style ones like I have (the one's with vents instead of a solid grille with a logo). I HATE it, plus they crack and break easily.
I think they look good, and should've been like that all throughout 82-92.

I just took a new unused bowtie grill in on trade yesterday. Still unsure if Im gonna use it on my 91 project or not. I actually have one of each thirdgen Camaro grill. Have the RS grill, the bowtie grill, and the "CAMARO" grill and only one car. Maybe I should swap grills once a week lol

Need to pull it out. So some black painting behind the bumper cover ,etc... That will all get done when the front is off for the intercooler install..

Love the car, what kind of wheels are those? And what is the deal with the bowtie grilles were they only offered on certain years or are they aftermarket? I have the camaro grill but it has an ugly NY plate on it.Originally Posted by Ramair21

My personal favorites are the ZO3 Heritage cars of '92 where the grill was body color matched (except for the Purple Haze versions). Even though blue wasn't a ZO3 option, heres mine:

I ziptied in some mesh I picked up in the "performance" aisle at AutoZone. It fills in the gaps, but doesn't draw too much attention. Also, I figure it helps to protect the radiator from debris.

I like that a lot too...If I can't find some new bezels for my fog lights, I'm just gonna leave them out and go with that look. I hardly ever turned them on anyway

Bowtie painted to match car and nose emblem filled in.

No, 1990 still said 'Camaro' on the grill, including Z28 and IROC-Zs. 91-92 Zs have the bowties.Originally Posted by J_Makk z28

I used some stainless mesh screen (the same kind GM uses to make the grill screens on C5 Z06's to screen off my ram-air boxes that feed the air lid.

I saw a few Camaros without the fogs that had the bowtie grille and decided I really liked the look so I went ahead and did it and never looked back.

I think that depending on what the color of the car is and how much is done to it....sometimes the fog lights are too much and make the car look too busy.Just my opinion....
I like mine without the fog lights but I am really diggin the zip tied mesh look...hmmmm..lol

I did something kinda cool with mine. I put black mesh in front of the grill after spraying the whole grill black (had a red bowtie on it), and finished it off with a silver rocker panel emblem.

Nice cars in here, I'll add mine once I grab the pics off my camera.

How much is the Bowtie grille from GM? Already bought the Z28 silver rocker panel, bumper emblems. The hood will be here soon : ).

I want to surprise him and get the bolt but he hasnt had any luck finding it either. It is black and looks like an eye bolt. Feels like hard plastic. PLEASE I NEED HELP !!!! I thought about calling where we bought the item from but dont have the company info anymore ! Responses would greatly be appreciated.
