silly question

I know this is a dumb question and its proberly just too tempting to reply with a silly message (greatfully received) but, how do you get a pic under your name when replying to a thread???

Do you see the five purple buttons at the top of the screen go to the firdt one,that says user cp , than go to user options and click it scrool all the way down the next page a click choose avatar.
