I didn't know where else to post this. I can't get into the chat room. i just installed windows xp on my computer.

the chat room doesnt work for me either i also have windows xp. i have allways had xp and it never worked.

no java virtual machine

yes... with xp pro, or home, it does not ship with the java VM or java virtual machine. you need this to run the jirc java applet in the chat room. just goto windows update and install it there. OR, even better, goto suns website and download it there. after it is installed, reboot your computer and then go back to the chat room and it will ask you if you would like to grant permission for the applet to load, dont worry, you only have to do this once, then you will be good to go!!!
