New regional board! North West Canada/US

I've noticed that us north westerners are lacking a board of our own, while every other region seems to be covered.

I know there are lots of alberta, bc, washington montana and manitoba guys on this site.

How about a regional board for us guys too!?

I think you would Qualify for Cascade Crew, but not sure. Go the Cascade Crew forum and ask Roshambo or Crusader, they'll know for sure.

Hmm....Cascade crew? Nah. Says BC- but the rest are American- so far away from Alberta

Nice to chat with people that are actaually neighbors.

I'd be happy with a Manitoba, Sask, Albera and BC
though.

Oh look...Ontario gets their own!!!
We always get screwed in the West (by the Gov't I mean)

David T's day at the track is Sunday the 18th and
it takes place during the day.

Hopefully lots of F-bodies but it's open to all GM vehicles

Go to

http://www.davidt.com/newsevents.htm

and check it out. I registered over the phone last year- worked out fine.

I also cut my 1/4 mile by 0.5 sec soley due to the lower altitude!

Nosaint- you having another meet on thursday?
Maybe we should go to ******- I think that's wednesday?

Ive been to ***** on Wed last year. My car isnt that nice to be one of the crowd, more of a spectator. Besides I kinda like just the 3rd gen aspect of it all.

The meeting is Thursday the 8th. At the sunridge mall, bay parking lot. 8 o'clock

Hope to see this 1LE?

Mike,

You either need a geography lesson or you made a mistake in your posting!

Saskatchewan and Manitoba are in Western Canada and not central Canada. That's Ontario and Quebec--yuck!!!

We should include Montana and the Dakotas because they are left out of all the other boards, too.

You can pre-register or pay at the door.

Cost is 40$ which is a bit steep but that includes addmission for 2 additional people (spectators, pit crew ect)

I'm going to try to make it.

I'm going to try very hard to make it.

Does edmonton demand anything unusual for tech?

Not that I remember- you'll need a helmet, must wear jeans- NO shorts- battery tie-down, over flow tank- something about not being able to start the car while in gear?

I'm sure if your cars half way decent it would be no problem-

oh dual throttle return springs too

Last year was a terrible turnout

I think they rented it twice last year- and the time I went there was something big going on in Edmonton- that's why the attendance was low.

I'd say 30 last year- tops. I expect a bigger turnout this time around.

It starts early- I think 10am and goes until...5?
not sure though

Thats not bad. It would be good for racing. U wouldnt have to wait forever to race like some nights at Race City having to wait 45 minutes to make a pass.

Anyways when are we going to get our own board. We have had 30 somthing posts in a week or so.

Ryan- N. on highway 2- turn off westbound on highway 19- at that point your only 3-4 minutes away and it'll be on your left.

It's just around Leduc-realy close to the airport.

I go on holidays on Sunday- and will swing back through Edmonton- so I can't convoy

Sorry I couldn't make it for our second meeting last night guys!

My car took longer than expected to get the new 3.42 gears in. I took it in Wednesday evening and it's now Friday at 5:42 pm and I still don't have it back yet

When is the next one?
