I have not seen anything with this guys case personally, but I think moderators should be more harsh on people who personally attack users or their cars just for askin opinions of things they dont personally like.

Its like anyone gets away with anything on the boards lately.

 

More or less it was locked because you were verbally abusive. madmax doesn't take any bs in his forum.

I didnt mean to be verbally abusive but when some dude says i shouldnt be workin on a car since i cant fix a keyboard, i get a little pissed i mean thats just and i dont apreciate it. expecially when i asked for info not opinions

 

if you don't like it here you can always leave or whine about it, whatever works for you

 

i've noticed a little bit more stuff goin on also.

same typical bashing and bitching that goes on in the appearance board.

it's quite simple...... if you can't handle something without resorting to flaming back, then leave. we get tired of seeing the same flame wars every day because someone can't ignore someone who rips on them.

goddamn, deal with it already.

as far as i'm concerned......

if some guy comes in and rips on your car, calls it a hunk of chit, scrap pile, rice, etc.. and you retaliate (sp?) back by flaming him...... you're every bit of being part of the problem.

some people enjoy the attention by flaming other people, i presume.

but you have to deal with it by simply ignoring it. don't flame back. that's what they want. they want to get you pissed off. don't air out your dirty laundry on the boards.... there's plenty of off-topic thirdgen boards for that.

and quite frankly, i see brad doing more moderating on the appearance board rather than the actual moderators.........

 

it wouldn't happen on any boards i moderate, i'm a *****, but everyone has to play nice
