I am having a gathering of thirdgens here in Iowa in mid-June and a local news channel may be there. I was wondering if I had permission to tell them about TGO and also post flyers around Des Moines about the meet with TGO logos on it.

Just wondering if the TGO was a reserved logo or trademarked logo. Please let me know guys, I don't think you would care, but i figured I would ask.

I forwarded this thread to Dirk, and he read it! Hard to imagine, I know, but he did.

Anyway, I talked to him at the gathering this weekend and he said that you could use the name, but you can not make any money off of it. That would violate some legal stuff.

As a side note, try to use the name correctly and get the site out there to everyone in Iowa (all 100 of 'em ).

I hope your gathering goes well. We had one here in Tucson this Friday and Saturday and it was a blast. There are some pics posted in the Southwest forum if you want to see. Dirk even brought his GTA out for some pics and crusing. After pics, we all went to Hooters for dinner and then went crusing. We had over 50 car show up. Good luck and I hope that you have more than that.
