I have had a problem with the search ever since the server 'crashed.' The search letter minimum of 3 is crazy, finding info on codes is a PITA, you almost have to make a new post to get a conclusive answer. I had problems with my MSD box and I couldn't even search for 'MSD 6A.' Possable to get this removed?

 

I've heard that it'll be fixed eventually, when the boards are changed.

 

owning a board myself I know this, unless this version is unlike any other, but all an admin would have to do is log in, click a category, change a number from 3 to 2, save it and its done.

I too hate this, you can search for years unless you type all 4 digits, you cant search for CD, there has been a few things lately that I have been unable to find because of this, then you get the people who yell "do a search" its crazy

 

Simply type "MSD 6A*" to get around this feature. Codes the same way, although TH* will bring up quite a few topics I'm sure. Adding a wild card works on basically every board, and if it's four or whatever minimum just add more wildcards.
