I would rather have a nice, clean layout than some kinda flashy layout. I think its fine the way it is.

 

I agree with MetalliC, weve got a good thing going here.

 

The boards are staying the way they are and I know that the main page could use work but people are too busy to do it.

 

It's all a matter of opinion. I like it just fine.

 

With more "flash", the boards would be even slower. With all the searching that takes place, we dont need anything else to slow it down. Most of us are on high-speed, but a lot of folks are still using 56k.

I love this board the way it is. I dont think Dirk would even be interested in doing anything else.

ok well i guess i am the only one lol. oh well i am just more into the creative side. but since u brought up the point of haveing to load more stuff, your right i never thought about that. the last thing i want and anyone else is a slow site. well if u ever do deside u want like a new thigen banner or something like that let me no.

 

without a doubt, this layout is way better than the one you posted. how can you sit down and read for hours with these horrible bright colors destroying your eye ***** ;p

Same here, things are so bright. I just turn down the brightness on my monitor. Maybe we could have a skin choice??? That would be good.

 

vB does allow multiple "styles" that the admins can create for their users. Of course, that takes some time since there is many options for things consisting of different colors, fonts, size, etc.
