reader's rides

perhaps its time for a remix on the readers rides. perhaps some thumbs or separating them by years. its just so monotonous (hope i spelled that one right) to look for cool looking cars to get ideas. and maybe also you could add a rating to each car. let other f-body owners rate other f-bodies. perhaps also a place to give reader's a chance to give suggestions like "you should really lower your camaro to give it a better stance...etc..." just a thought about the reader's rides section. thanks.

Did you try the Search The Rides?? It lets you find exactly what you're looking for.

I think I can understand where he is coming from... and honestly I do not know of a better way to really display all of the rides and have some sort of organization that would keep it simple.

Searching soemtimes works, but the results can be overwhelming...sometimes

I don't see how when you can pick out every single feature on a car that you want.

When I started doing T-shirts I indepthly (not sure if indepthly is a word) went through the rides to find appropriate pix of owners cars to copy and put on shirts... I found that for some reason I would skip some carsm and others I would click several times, because I forgot where I was. In the listings I think a member chosen thumnail might be cool, and might make it easier for people looking for pix.

I think thats what 84TA was referring to...

Its an idea that might take some thought, I think it has some potential, but if if does not happen I think we can all live without it...

NOT to mention most of our members either have only ok photography skills and the abilty to upload a great resolution pic, OR they have Great skill with the camera, and only upload a little pic...

Readers Rides

I know this may sound dumb to many, but I have to ask, how do you get a picture of your car into readers rides? I"m some what new to this computer age and and I'm learning fast but I still haven't gotten my picture of my car into readers rides. I keep getting a message about illegal characters, not sure what that means. I have pictures of my car that are in a file in my computer and when I put that into the field for the picture and enter it, I get the message about illegal characters. Can some one explain to this rookie user how or what I'm doing wrong..Any help would be appreciated on this as well as how to post a picture with a post.
Thanks cc 82Z-28
