cant login to classifieds while logged on

cant login to classifieds while logged on
today was the first time ive looked at the classified ads and when i'de login it would tell me thanks for logging in and then when it would take me to the page it would tell me to login again. i then thought maybe that i had to set up another user name for the classifieds than what i had for the rest of the boards so i clicked on register and it said that i was already logged in. but when it brought me back to the classified page it told me again that i wasn't logged in.
