How come the news and updates board has not been updated for 6 months? 
I am a web designer and would be more than willing to help out with anything needed if there is to much to handle. Since the news and updates screen is basically our home page it makes Thirdgen.org look like they don't keep up with current events. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

i'm not with TGO but i'm just curious what type of work you do? Examples? Honestly, no offense meant to you since i don't know you, it is just i usually think back to the people who create 1 AOL / GeoCities home page and then call themselves a web designer, so i always like to see one's work, since i think it is more than just that.
i don't consider myself a web designer, i like to work with mysql, php and the vB software itself, so this isn't meant in any bad way.

No offense taken. I have created a couple different websites and I am making $ doing so. I have to call myself a web designer if i intend for anyone to take me seriously and ask me to build them a site. I have two businesses that belong to me that I have built web sites for from the ground up. One of those being Torchman.com. I'm also currently working on another site that is going to be selling Air Jordans. I'll probably have it ready to launch sometime next week, i think ive decided on ExpressAir.org to be it's address. I also sell a program entitled How to Build a Web Site in Five Days and have helped many people come up with ideas and troubleshooting for there sites. The bottom line is if you want a web site, I can design and get it live. therefore, I am a web designer

It'd be great to. Unfortunately I have been alone around here for the last few months for some unknown reason and have no idea when anything will be going forward at this time.

well, keep me in mind if you need someone to assist you with anything. I like TGO alot and would be more than willing to donate some time to it.
