i think thats an awesome idea, we should make it more of a 3rd gen memorabilia section, but they wont consider it a tech and most likly wont happen

I second that notion, I think it is a good ideal.

I agree this is a good idea. Still, it probably wouldn't happen until after the new server is built and possibly an upgrade of vB is performed. "Merchandise Forum" comes to mind. Good call, 91rsowner4life.

It really depends on the demand... is there enough following out there to dedicate a diecast/scale model forum for it that will get regular discussions? Let me know

Not for diecast/scale models only, but I think if it covered all forms of thirdgen merchandise (clothing, toys, memorabilia, posters, calendars, video games, etc), it would definitely serve its purpose. The Appearance and Detailing forum gets posts on things like this on a fairly regular basis.

The t-shirt forum could likely be fused into a Merchandise forum, as well.

i think a Merchandise Forum would get alot of use but i also think a diecast/scale model forum would get alot use also
what about a merchandise forum with a diecast/scale model forum on the inside kind of like a forum in side a forum. does that make sence?

There aren't enough posts to warrant a die cast/model section by itself. There has been more talk about Gran Turismo 4 than anything else lately, which would fit perfectly in a Merchandise forum.
