Hi, I was wondering if someone can get my post count back... It was 3,382 b4 i was banned and someone erased it... Thanks

Maybe you should go ask some older mebers how many posts they are owed, if they care or remember. Mark Shields comes to mind... lol

 

Post counts get altered, erased, and corrupted all the time. Get used to it. You're lucky even to be reinstated with the same name.

Aside from that, post counts have little relevance, unless you are holding a contest to see who can keyboard the fastest. We've had members with 10,000 posts, whose sum total of useful content was less than or equal to some other members with 100 posts. Most of us don't pay much attention to the numbers, but more to the results. 5,000 replies with "Awright!" and a three-page signature attached don't fool many of us.

You mods, admins think your so high and mighty and in much need of respect????? Sure there are a few mods that I like but its not like you treat others with much respect either. You lock thread that are key to helping someone fix thier car, you complain non stop about not using the search.....people are sometimes in a hurry to get their car running and dont have the time to go into the search thing that gives usually nothing, then you go locking it because they Didnt use the useless seach button...go figure

83 Camaro- If I need a quick answer for my car, I am going to use the search. I can search for 3 minutes and find information or I can be lazy and post a question then wait a few hours for someone to respond. With the way some people are, I'll be lucky to get a respond other than "werd". If that finally fixes my problem, hours later rather than minutes because I was too lazy.. then great.

We lock threads that are off topic. So if someone has a post on how to fix their Jeep, it will be locked. I haven't seen a thread locked where someone needs help fixing their third gen.

I didn't take away anyone's post count. I don't have the ability to do so. So before you make a valiant post to try and defend something, know what you're defending and the story behind it.

I treat everyone with respect unless I see otherwise.

 

It appears to me, some people just don't get this whole internet thing. It's a slice of life. Sometimes you get teh sunshine and sometimes you get teh tsunami.


usually i see that when its an opinion related topic. Like does this paint look good? or does these rims look good? how else you respond to that. Since at the time I think you had a total member count of anywhere from 15-20 people, I'd say you're not very fond of most of the member's here.

 

i was very angry that night.. And i have apologize to everyone on Thirdgen.org.. Sometimes things slip out of your mouth (or tpye fingers) That doesnt mean nothing. I dont hate 80 % of tgo. Making mistakes is fine, everyone does it. Its what you learn from them that is key. I tried to get you guys to learn that your whoring of the boards was annoying other members. You didn't want to learn. You didn't want anyone interrupting your TGO playtime so you threw a temper tantrum.

This is incredibly out of hand, you guys need to be more like fellow f-bod enthusiasts and less like ****'s.

 

I am an f-body enthusiast. That is why I try my best to keep my share of these boards on task so other f-body enthusiasts can enjoy it. And when some f-body enthusiasts have a problem, I try to help them with it. But when the f-body enthusiasts causing this problem don't want to cooperate and want to act like a couple little kids, then badmouth the other enthusiasts, I start to lose respect for them. Sorry, but thats how it goes.

Not how it went. You mocked me for trying to help other members out. You were put on probation. Then the badmouthing of everything about TGO began and then you were banned.

I wasn't even online when nolan or 82knight were banned. I don't know about that situation so I can't comment on it.

how can you say they arent contributing members? everyone here that signed up either has a thirdgen, getting one, or had one. some dont qualify in any of the above and they are here. that would make them less contributing members than these guys that got banned. they are here to learn. everytime a post is read, some info is picked up cuz the forums here are great for info.

who on here was getting annoyed by them anyway?? in every post i have seen posted by these guys has not been offensive or "annoying". its the internet! who gives about grammar? if you can read it then its all good.

any post by these guys has been in a worthy thread for the most part. i can say there are some pointless posts from time to time, but their replies hasnt effected any thread that i have seen. i have seen a few.......LOL most all threads have been answered and solved the problem, given advice on situations, or whatever the thread asked for.

most of the threads on the Appearance board is all opinion anyway. you know that. people ask how this looks???? or what about this idea??? how else can you respond to those threads other than by "it looks good" "i agree" "werd" "not too great IMO"......
