Testing the waters...

I'm trying to get some indication if there would be any interest in a forum dedicated specifically to automotive machine work on the site. I have noticed several threads in various places around the board that ask about head and block machining, balancing, rod reworking, crankshaft regrinding, machining for large journal cams, lifter bore straightening and honing, and various other tasks that would commonly be done at automotive machine shops.

Is there enough interest in this kind of activity, or are there enough members that perform their own machine work to warrant a dedicated forum? Or, would a good set of tech articles and/or "stickies" in other places be sufficient?

Just curious...
