Im not sure if this is all that great just something i thought up. In the parts for sale forum, there are a ton of people selling a ton of crap everyday. Im not sure how hard this would be or time consuming, but i was thinking why not break the parts forum into some sub classes. Say body interior exterior, engine, suspension and so on. That way there wouldnt be so much content on one page that everyone and their mothers would come back to their thread and TTT it. Just a idea, feel free to shoot it down. I have no idea how hard it would be to split the sales page up.

 

This sounds like a good idea. It might also be a good idea to lock the threads once they are posted. This would keep people from ttt'ing them. If people have questions about the stuff for sale, they can PM. This would lead to much less clutter on the boards.

No need to lock threads, the Admins can easily set that forum to not allow replies, a lot less work for the moderators/admins.

 

Locking the threasd wouldn't allow posters to ask questions. Not everyone responds to emails and PM's but they do check back at their classified listing. You can also search in the classifieds for what you are looking for. This is the easiest way to filter out what you want. Also, TTT is allowed once per day so that non posters can monitor the sales progress.
