I ended up posting on the tech board as another member (I'm using his 'puter). Any way to fix that or do I just get 50 lashes and an *** beating from him?

If someone had direct access to the mysql database, it could be fixed easily with a digit change. However, likely, anything sort of that can't be done to resolve it unless you have a moderator delete the post and you repost under the correct username. i don't recall any admin/moderator tool to make such a change. i think working inside the mysql database would be the only way to make the change, which i'm not sure the likelihood of someone doing that for your case.
