So I have been away for a while, but what happend to the readers rides section. is it gone forever and if not and it is just a tec. prolblem, is all the information lost? and answers in this would be greatly apreciated, thanks in advance

 

Dirk is working on it but he's on sabbatical as we all know. When he comes back from his mission in Africa sometime in late 06 possibly January 07 and notices it is still missing it may return.

 

I gather that you are not kidding. And that you are being serious that it may take till 07? wow in laymans terms what happend to that section, and is all the information lost? thanks by the way for replying, I apreciate it.

 

The server had a hard drive failure and required being rebuilt, software wise then hardware wise when TGO upgraded the server. i believe the software for the Readers Rides and Classifieds section was lost and now TGO has been rethinking plans on the future for the Readers Rides, last i heard.

 

His date of return is still up in the air. When the village he's helping is set up well and a suitable replacement is found he'll be back. Until then the site will have to stay the way it is.
