I really don't understand why the site is so much slower. The site before the big tradeoff was running smoothly. Now I notice everything is slower is the new server that much slower? Also I realize the search has always had problems but its rediculously slow now.

The server that TGO is now on is actually an upgrade (hardware wise) from the server that TGO was on before the tradeoff.

Once the search issue was under better control, I have not noticed any slow-downs.

I'm seeing it a little also actually. Sometimes multiple presses of the buttons are needed to get things to work.

I know it is human nature to do such, but multiple presses of button for the same action can actually slow things further down, and cause other issues, such as Irocz's double post in this thread. This is also why there is limits to the search feature, and also why the search feature was more of a burden on the server than it should have been.

The double post was because the site was taking so long to load that I hit it again. It has been quick since though.
