Anyone else been finding these spam posts all over the place lately? How long till this loser gets his IP banned? I noticed he's posting from various usernames and looks like most of them have already been killed off. I hate to have to complain about it but this guy is very annoying.

Looked into it a bit more and looks like the mods got to the posts from yesterday already but another one popped up now today. Props to the mods and death to the guy whos making u work so hard.

One option (though slightly inconvenient) would be to make users wait for 7 days before actually posting on the forums but allowing them to view them once registered. A few other forums I've been to have used this as a "spam guard" and it seemed to work well.

 

You talking about the person/people that posts the website links to some "bag 1881" or something like that?

I made mention when i reported the post that the web links that were posted should be added to the sites filter or something, that way you dont have to worry about those specific sites being spammed here anyways...

Or maybe check the IP, see if they are all at the same IP. If so block that IP, if not thats not going to do any good.
