Google Search
Google Search
Today I will be adding a google search above the forums for logged in users.
What this will allow is an alternative to using our search option which is limited to one search every 60 seconds (or something there of). This should also lower the server load by reducing SQL table queries and rendering of PHP pages, thus speeding up the rest of the forum
The search (if you click the www.thirdgen.org option) will return results only from the forum. BUT it will only show results which are indexed by google. The benefit of this would be that google usually indexes the most relevant pages, which in turn will PROBABLY give you what you are looking for.
Plus, now you won't have to type in Google.com to your browser or use the browser built in search when you are on the forum.
Anyway, we hope you appreciate this alternative.
