when at home or at work (yes I live here) I notice the navagation area with home, user CP, FAQ and so forth doesn't always line up very well almost at times making it hard to read what is being put in there.
this is with both IE6 and IE7 b2 and b3

 

Post a screen capture and include what resolution you run. I use up to 4 different pcs a time, with various browsers, Operating Systems and settings and never experienced that. Sounds like something on your end. I have not been informed from anyone else with such an issue.
