My to the topic forum was deleted?

I just started a forum about my as of today totaled camaro on camaros for sale, and it was deleted shortly after I posted it. It was letting everyone know that I would be piecing it out, and to let me know if anyone was interested in anything. What did I do wrong? I looked under the moderators, as well as the admin, and found that none of them were online ? What's up?

I, and the moderator who took action, was both online so you missed something.

Your post was initially under the Cars For Sale section. You wasn't selling a complete car, you appeared to be parting out the car. So I moved it to a more appropriate section (parts for sale).

A moderator did delete the thread from there. Perhaps it was due to your title "My Baby Died (OK, only figuratively)". Perhaps the moderator thought your thread title was more of an FYI post, rather than an actual ad.

Might try again, keeping the above tips in mind.

Thanks

Thank you for the speedy response. I can see how the title would have led him to think it was an FYI thread. The article, however (or I believe), clearly stated that I was parting the car out. No offense, but did he read it before he deleted it? On a different note though, which section of "parts for sale" should I re-start it in, as it is sort of all-encompassing?

It could have been an honest mistake. I'm not sure since I only moved it to a more appropriate section.

Your ad seemed most focused on exterior parts, atleast to me. Might post in the Exterior Parts for Sale forum with said parts (such as the rims you mentioned, etc.), and if you have some interior parts, might post in the Interior Parts for Sale forum was well.

The Cars for Sale section is generally for whole cars being sold. Atleast that was my understanding.

I agree, and it is ok that I make separate posts under interior, exterior, and engine and drivetrain, as I am selling all parts worth selling on the car, exterior, interior, and engine, right? My thread won't be deleted because I have posted for the same car (albeit different sections of the car) in three areas, will it?

I don't believe it would be an issue. You likely would want to list a few of your notable parts and some prices anyway for each different post for each section anyway.
