I was just wondering, my default is such that a reply does not show my sig, which I like, but if I quick reply it shows the sig.

Is there a way to change that setting so it defaults to not showing the sig on both? I couldn't find a setting for that, it seems strange to have the defaults be "no show" and "show" respectively?

What happened is that I had slightly altered that. It was something Dirk implemented on this board some time ago under the older vB 2.x software (which did not have a quick reply feature), so I followed the same direction and applied it to this newer software. When a member replies to a thread using the normal reply feature, the show signature option is unchecked by default. When a member creates a new thread, the show signature is checked by default provided that the member has a signature.

The problem is that with Quick Reply feature I've been unable to successfully do the same thing. I'd like to change it, but because I couldn't successfully at first, it sort of got brushed off to get replaced by other things.
