image attachment feature no longer shows up for me? is there a reason or is this site specific and why?

I posted a test thread with an uploaded attachment. Thumbnail attachment displayed in the thread and clicking on the thumbnail resulted in displaying the full-size image.

I reviewed a few past threads that had a few attachments in them (recently), and all appeared to function correctly.

I searched the attachments and noticed that in the past few hours, members have been attaching images and they appear to be displaying correctly for me.

Therefore, I do not see a problem at this time.

 

here you go... notice that i don't have that option on mine? no normal drop down window as it has been in the past. been like this for almost a month.

 

OK. I thought you meant view attachments, not post them.

I have a strong suspicion that this is possibly something on your end, either with your browser (IE) or your computer. You show the option, just not the button. Your account shows normal and you're number 2 as far as attachment usage (consumption). I don't see the problem, and suspect it is something on your computer. At this moment, I'm not sure what exactly might be the problem on your computer.

 

hmm... odd but ok.

 

1) My account can upload attachments in either FireFox or IE
2) A test account with same permissions as your account can upload attachments in either FireFox or IE
3) Since the time of your post, there has been several attachments uploaded by several different users, in addition to belonging to the same user group as you
4) If the issue was widespread, and lasting for nearly 1 month as you indicated, it's nearly certain there would be numerous reports

I could be wrong, but those are several indicators that lead me to suggest that the issue is possibly on your machine.
