Can't leave itrader feedback?

Can't leave itrader feedback?
Hey JT, i'm not totally clear on the whole setup, but I was trying to leave some positive feedback for LB9GTA
because he sold me a part, and it all went smoothly.

When I tried to leave feedback, it told me it was an invalid URL. Is that because the thread doesn't exist in a "for sale" forum? It's in one of the tech boards, but the topic came up in conversation so the sale went through. Is it still possible to give recognition? Just so that there is a paper trail that he/me are not crooks, to ease future dealings? (That's the point of the feedback system right?)
I've got another case involving naf in the carb board, same thing.
