Google Chrome is not just "new", it's still a beta product. In addition, it's not just our forums that Google Chrome doesn't work well with, it's the vBulletin software itself (excluding the newer versions). I just tested on a few vanilla vB-based forums and noticed the same issues (drop-down menu doesn't work, WYSWYG editor doesn't work, etc.). It does look like Google Chrome works with the newer vBulletin version, though. I'll see what I can do.

Sounds good. Does that mean that your updating the site to the newer version, that its still using the old one? I am a "Medium experienced" web page designer myself...

Yes, we will be upgrading to a newer version in the near future. However, this website is a tech-only website and much of the features that come with the newer version is more geared for social-based websites. However, I did not plan to upgrade to the newest vB software to simply fix an issue with a beta product
