I set up a small picture and some text in my User CP.. It shows there.

When I enter a message I check off Show your Signature, but it never shows up when the message appears.. I did a search for this type of problem, but I cant' seem to find any fixes...

What am I doing wrong?

Jim, as you may recall since you are senior member, whenever you respond to a thread, you will need to place a checkmark in the box of "Show your signature", which is under the "Additional Options" - which is below the area you type in your message when you're using the full reply form.

Whenever you create a new thread, by default, that checkmark is already in the box of "Show your signature".

This was something Dirk setup long ago to help minimize repeated use of one's signature in the same thread. We've kept that logic.

I went through a few of your past posts, such as in the History forum, and the checkmark wasn't there.

 

ahhh so thats the reason mine doesn't show... god Im such a noob. Never noticed that little box before... lol

i can get my sig to show fine but how do i get the little pic under my info on the left of my posts to show? if its called a profile pic, i have one loaded in the user cp section but it doesnt show up under my user name on my posts

 

What you refer to is called an "avatar". You can edit yours here:
