uploading 1988 Firebird service manual
Hi folks, I'm digitizing my 1988 Firebird service manual (the thick GM one) for my own personal use.
My question to (especially the board operators): Would it be an idea to make this available on thirdgen.org, or would this be a bad idea considering copyright issues and so. Just wondering what you have to say about it.

Go ask the publisher if you can reproduce their book in digital form and freely distribute it.
My guess would be that they say no. Copyrights, thanks to some big companies *caugh*disney*caugh* last about 70 years plus however long the author is alive. That means they make money on selling the work for over 70 years. Few companies give up that income.
