Is there a way to be able to delete your own classified ads. It would be nice to sell your item and the delete your add so you don't get a call a year later about a car you had for sale. Just a thought. Adam :-)

 

If the listing isn't too old you can edit the post to remove the phone number. You can also mark it as "Sold" with the prefix tag, which is before the Title box.

If the ad is too old, you won't be able to edit it. In that case, send a PM to a Moderator of that forum, or myself, and we'll remove the phone number.

We do not delete content and that includes ads.

You might also want to know that since Google and the other search engines like to cache content, your phone number won't be completely removed from the Internet. Might want to keep that in mind and next time simply leave an email or request you be contacted via PM (private message) to release more sensitive information.
