idea...
i actually had an idea for the site..... i know there are guys like me that are new to the car scene... n i know that for me sometimes its easier to see something done rather than reading about how to do it.... so i was thinking it'd be cool if u guys had a part of the forum where you and or others could post general how to vids or even vids in reply to peoples questions on how to do something or even how something's work..... like testing compression... porting heads....etc.... vids from general to even advanced stuff... this site is already awesome...but i think it'd make it a lot cooler.... n i think this could separate it from other sites and bring it to a whole new level... just a suggestion...
Re: idea...
With sites like YouTube in existence, and the user being the one who is going to have to produce the video, there really isn't much stopping anyone from doing this already.
The might be the best start to this approach to see the content and quality.

Re: idea...
You did quote the entire post of mine, which I think is where my hint comes from.
You (users of this site) already have the ability to do this. YouTube can host the content and you (the users) are the ones who will need to produce this.
It has to start somewhere. Let's see some examples? If the quality and content is good, I can't really see why we can't adopt it at some point in time.

Re: idea...
just didnt understand the last sentence...i understand the part about youtube... the thing about youtube is that videos get deleted every now n then.... but if it was directly on this site it might have a better chance of being there like 5 or even 10 years from now when a whole new generation of gearheads come to the site (plus you guys would have more control over the vids instead of youtube... id be more than happy to post videos...but i personally cant post anything because of my lack of knowledge...hence why i brought up the idea... im basically a newbie (though ive learned a heck of a lot from all the awesome guys here already) i know there are guys on the site though who have the knowledge that i hope to achieve one day... i figured that an admin like yourself would read this post... n u have more input about what goes on at TGO than i myself do.... n that u might somehow be able to mention and or inform users on this concept...to somehow spread the word n get people on board with this idea...n yeah...it could start on Youtube and if all goes well then it could be adapted to the site.... thanks Rob.
