I've given this some thought - We've obviously ruled out a general auto section as this is a thirdgen board, but I think we definitely need a "General thirdgen" section... Something like a "Thirdgen-related lounge".

The idea is that the section would have to stay 3rdgen related, but would hold general threads like "I love driving my thirdgen" or "Wish I had a thirdgen" or "What's your dream thirdgen?".

Ya know, just general stuff. Unless I'm mistaken, there doesn't seem to be a specific area to post these types of stuff.

 

Sorry, but your suggestion of a general, non-tech, ThirdGen board falls under the "non-tech" policy that the staff has determined to decide against for some time:

I will say that while we have no plans for such at this time, I won't say that it won't ever happen in the future.
