why so slow?

You are the only person who's told us it takes 5 minutes to load a page. Nobody else is having the extreme slowdowns you seem to be having.
The only really slow part of the board right now is when you EDIT a post. I think I have a fix for that though.
It's completely possible that the problem you're having stems from the fact that you're using AOL.
