thread subscriptions
thread subscriptions
did something change in terms of thread subscriptions? all of a sudden I'm getting emails about people replying to threads I've posted in over the years.
like somehow I got automatically subscribed to all those threads....
how do I unsubscribe en masse? I don't want to have to do them one by one...

Your complete Subscribed list:

You can manually change those using the checkbox in the upper right corner of the column to mass select messages and then in the Select Threads box at the bottom change to No Email Notification, or whatever, and Go.
There are different methods of subscriptions, which has been the case for years, as noted below:
1) You can manually change the Thread Subscription Notification Type for each thread in the Advanced section when replying if you want to customize the notification per thread. Note that once you've already subscribed to the thread, you must then use #2 to make a change for that thread.
2) Go to UserCP, View all Subscribed Threads, and manually change the options for that thread.
3) To change default behavior - Go to UserCP, Edit Options and Find Default Thread Subscription Mode and change it. That will apply moving forward. However, this will not change previous thread subscriptions. Previous thread subscriptions must be edited using #2.
In other words, #3 method is the default but it does not get overridden if you use #1 or #2
